No production is too large or too small for our busy, top of the line, theater rental department.
Western Costume has dressed stage actors in productions of “Showboat,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Oklahoma,” “The Sound of Music,” “South Pacific,” “The Odyssey,” and “A Few Good Men,” to name a few.
All levels of theatrical production–Broadway, community theater and high school productions–call upon Western to dress their casts. Small budget productions feel confident knowing Western has dressed stage icons such as Liza Minelli, Ethel Merman and Charlton Heston. Come to think of it, large productions feel confident for the same reason.
A recent visitor to our Theater Rental Department might have found department head Bill Burchette working with the Geffen Playhouse, the Pasadena Playhouse, the American Conservatory Theatre, Cirque du Soleil, the Mark Taper Forum, Centre Theater or the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
Burchette has been with Western Costume since 1975 and offers his customers a vast knowledge of theatre and costume. Bill majored in fashion at Woodbury College, and has over 25 years of experience in producing, directing, acting and costuming local theatre productions.
