Jack Kasbarian 2nd Master Tailor
It has been speculated that during the 1930’s and 40’s there wasn’t a film made in which Western didn’t have a hand. Manufacturing clothing for actors such as Rudolph Valentino, Errol Flynn, Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, John Wayne and James Stewart was a daily activity at Western Costume. More recently, Western Costume has also played a hand in creating costumes for today’s blockbuster stars, like Warren Beatty, Adam Sandler, Ben Affleck and Tom Cruise.
Master Tailor, Nestor Alban, began his career in Ecuador immediately after finishing high school. While managing his own tailor shop, Nestor continued his education, enrolling in numerous courses, including one through Christian Dior Paris. After coming to the United States, Nestor worked several of the most exclusive tailoring shops in Beverly Hills before beginning his journey here at Western Costume. For more than 26 years, Nestor has brought his unique style and expertise to Western, and has created costumes for Hollywood icons including Russell Crowe and Kevin Spacey in “L.A. Confidential,” Jack Nicholson in “The Two Jakes,” and Brad Pitt in “A River Runs Through It.”
