2012 Carolyn Wagner, chair of the Costume Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, introduces the event and talks a bit about the role of the Costume Council. Western Costume president Eddie Marks shares an overview of the history of the company. He introduces the evening's costume designer, Bobi Mannix, as well as the panelists.

Panel Q&A Part 1

2012 Western archivist Bobi Garland moderates a panel of designers, supervisors, and artisans. Eddie Marks, designers Carol Ramsey and Ellen Mirojnick, supervisor Jim Tyson, hatmaker Harry Rotz, and shoemaker Mauricio Osorio take the stage to share personal stories of their time working in the industry and working with Western Costume.

Panel Q&A Part 2

2012 The panel continues with Jim Tyson reminiscing about his time there at the end of the studio era. Eddie Marks and Ellen Mirojnick take the story into the present, highlighting what makes the company so special and how it has lasted 100 years.

2012 A spectacular costume pageant takes us through the history of cinema and the history of dress, from ancient Egypt to the 21st century. Featuring vintage, reproduction, and screen-worn costumes from films like The Artist and True Grit.
