Behind theScenes
Early Halloween
Go behind the scene with President and CEO Gilbert Moussally, Research Librarian and Executive Assistant Amber Morris, Costume Historian and Manager of The Collection Lizzie Brandt, and Costume Designer and Stylist Nina Rocklin as they delve into the renowned Early Halloween collection. This impressive collection arrived in four semi-trucks, packed with thousands of costumes, many of which were not accounted for until the crates and boxes were unpacked. As they unpacked, the scene resembled a fascinating Tetris puzzle, revealing trunk after trunk and rack after rack of incredible costumes. Many pieces were hidden, preserving their pristine condition—never worn and rarely seen.
