There is no such thing as "impossible" in Western Costume's Women's Workroom, which is known for inventing methods to make even the most complicated design a reality. Under the guidance of Head Cutter/Fitter, Tzetzi Ganev, the most intricate and imaginative designs are "given birth" on a daily basis.
Trained at the Marangoni School of Design in Milan, Tzetzi studied art at UCLA and joined the Western Costume staff in 1966. Tzetzi's attention to detail and reputation for beautiful craftsmanship has made her one of Hollywood's most sought after dressmakers. She has fitted, and made costumes for, virtually every major female film star, including Faye Dunaway, Raquel Welch, Jane Fonda, Kim Novak, Melanie Griffith and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Some of the screen's most luminous leading ladies have turned to Western's Ladies' Shop for gowns to wear to the Academy Awards and other Hollywood galas, and for their personal wardrobe needs.
Our Ladies' Shop is highly regarded in the industry for its quality of work, and its ability to turn the designer's imagination into a finished product. It has been said that there is no other place in the world quite like it.
